Jankowice Coal Mine

Silesia

The Donnersmarcks family built it in Rybnik in 1913–1915, and mining started there in 1916. In 1944, labour camp No. 44 was established there. In 1950, 29 miners were killed due to a methane explosion. Its liquidation lasted many years; now, it belongs to the combined ROW Coal Mine.

In Arizona, between Nogales and Sasabe migrants can find shelters once they cross into United States. Those places are run by various groups and non profits providing support to migrants in the state. Here is one of those camps these days called "old camp" as it was one of the first ones.
