The inhabitants of Kharkiv were no longer sure which day missiles hit the regional administration building. They tried to remember whether the first or the third. Finally, they agreed that it was the third day.

The Russians wanted to destroy this place because they used enormous loads.

The inner courtyard has a funnel a few metres deep and wide. Twelve people who lived in the neighbourhood were running to the shelter in that building when it exploded.

They all died. The explosion wave blew out all the windows from the monumental walls surrounding the courtyard.

The second bomb or rocket hit the roof. It broke through the next three or four floors and unfortunately exploded inside over the basement used as a shelter where people were hiding. The construction collapsed, and they all died.

It took the firefighters over two months to dig out of the shelter and recover all the bodies.
