The industrial district is located in the city's eastern part and stretches to its borders.

The Russian troops were stopped a few kilometres away. Therefore this part of the city was within the range of Russian artillery and was under heavy shelling. High blocks of the Horyzont estate on the city's outskirts received many hits.

Despite that, many inhabitants lived there and would shelter in the basements during intense shelling.

The closer to the city centre, the more rarely the missiles hit the older part of the district.

Here, you can meet people outside more often, especially at humanitarian aid points, where volunteers distribute modest food packages consisting of chicken thighs and groats and packages of disinfecting wipes.
