Currently the Social Media Lead for Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa in the 3M company, responsible for the strategy and execution of digital campaigns for all the business groups (both B2B and B2C). Prior to that, he worked as a Corporate Projects Director at Orange Polska. He was an initiator and a producer of a couple of hundreds of marketing campaigns, mainly the digital ones.
He has been working in the fields of communications and PR for over a dozen years. Tomasz is a member of SocialMedia.org, an elite organization that gathers social media leaders of the biggest global brands. He has been on the jury of the Young Creatives Media and Innovation Ad. His work was recognized by an EFFIE, Golden Arrow, Innovations Awards, Media Trendy, MIXX Awards and others.
He also works as a coach and teaches the use of new technologies in communications, management, fundraising, and branding of an organization. He used to be a scoutmaster for the Scouting Association of the Republic of Poland, and between 2006 and 2008 was their communications lead and a spokesperson for the organization.
An estimated 1,400 girls are not born every year in Armenia due to a rooted preference for male children. The son-bias combined with a lower birth rate, has led to an alarming number of sex-selective abortions. Community activities, various laws and television shows are addressing the issue - with positive results. But is the actual problem being tackled?
