Stretches between the Atlantic coast and the Amazon. It is one of the largest countries in the world – has 8,515,767 km² of land area and over 200 million inhabitants. Its capital is Brasilia.

The COVID-19 arrived in Brazil through the upper class but has spread like wildfire throughout the poorest communities. This is the story of the grassroots initiatives that were launched by the residents of three favelas in São Paulo to face the problems caused or exacerbated by the pandemic.

Following 2019 Amazon rainforest wildfire, we traveled to Uru-Eu-Wau-Wau territory to meet the indigenous group threatened by loggers and deforestation.
