Yulia Marushevska

Euromaidan activist, who became known thanks to the video "I am a Ukrainian". It was her appeal to the international community. After Maidan, she was often invited abroad for meetings concerning events in Ukraine. In 2015, Mikheil Saakashvili proposed her a cooperation. He was then the Governor and the Head of the State Administration of the Odessa Oblast. Marushevska was his deputy for a short period of time. In October 2015, she took over the management of the Customs Office in Odessa, widely regarded as one of the most corrupted in Ukraine. She submitted her resignation in November 2016, claiming that the changes that she had to take were impossible to implement.
