„Titushky” are young, athletic people, rented and paid for by people associated with the Party of Regions and the former President Viktor Yanukovich, during Maidan protests (2014-2015). Their aim was to provoke and combat the participants of the protests. The subsequent investigation revealed that the “Titushky” were armed with firearms by the police. Their name comes from Wadim Titushka, who attacked two Ukrainian journalists in Kiev in May 2013.
