The jail of the Security Service of Ukraine

It is ironic that the present Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko, the main prosecutor in the Saakashvili’s case, was detained at the end of 2010 in the SBU pre-trial detention. Lutsenko, and the former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, were the victims of political repressions during the Presidency of Viktor Yanukovych. The present Prosecutor General was behind the bars until April 2013. Mustafa Najem, a former journalist of ‘Ukrainian Truth’, currently a deputy, wonders whether Lutsenko will not make the same mistake as his predecessors, and will not make Saakashvili's case a political trial.
