Prices increased even 30 to 45 times
Data based on a research conducted by the consulting company CBRE Ukraine.
For comparison: prices in hotels in Milan increased 12 times in 2016, in Berlin in 2015 - 9 times, and in Lisbon in 2014 - 13 times. In 2013 in London the prices increased only 4 times.
Three days before the final match it was still possible to find some single beds in Kiev hostels (prices from 35 to 50 dollars). Not many people know that there are quite decent hotel rooms at affordable prices at railway stations in big cities of Ukraine. Unfortunately, they can not be booked online or by phone, only personally just before the stay.
