The Medellin Cartel
A drug cartel, established in western Colombia. It was set up in Medellín, the capital of the department of Antioquia. It operated in Colombia, Bolivia, Central America, the USA, Canada and Europe. At its peak, the cartel smuggled one tonne of cocaine into countries around the world per week.
