Once ecstatic headlines pro-Trump headlines

Among the newspaper captions widely shared on Twitter, a headline from daily Sabah over U.S. President Donald Trump's phone call to congratulate his counterpart Tayyip Erdoğan for his controversial referendum victory on April 2017, reads "We have a lot to do together". Sabah is owned by Serhat Albayrak, the brother of Energy Minister and Erdoğan's son-in-law Berat Albayrak. Another one, from daily Takvim, from the same group as Sabah but known for its "trash" headlines, reads "we are as close as ever" following Erdoğan's meeting with Trump during his visit to the U.S. on September 2017.
