The number is almost four times as many as the United States, but the population of China is quadruple also than in the US. In the United Kingdom figures are not so distant  to China. There are up to 5.9 million CCTV cameras, one for every 11 people, according to the British Security Industry Authority. The business is increasing. In China, according to these numbers, there is one for every eight people.
