Peter Korček

Peter Korček (1980) is a photographer, pedagogue and postgraduate student at The Institute of Creative Photography of Silesian University in Opava. As for his own work, he mainly focuses on making documentary photography, since his primary interest is in the relations between urban people and their environment which surrounds them but is created by their activity at the same time. For 12 years, he has been working as a press photographer for various publishing companies. He was awarded at both Slovak Press Photo contest and Czech Press Photo contest several times.
