Karolina is an ethnologist, cultural anthropologist and a researcher at the Center d'Étude des mouvements sociaux (EHESS in Paris), an intercultural education coach and a volunteer in the AFS Polska. She has been passionate about France and its dependencies. Karolina has been doing fieldwork on the island of Reunion and now in New Caledonia, which allows her to understand better not only the local culture but also the relations connecting the inhabitants of the islands with France.
