The festival returns to its roots! In 2013–2019, we organised it under the name "Wachlarz", a festival that combined travelling with reportage and technologies. In 2016, it was one of the events as part of the European Capital of Culture in Wrocław. It also took place in Poznań and Warsaw. The idea is well-known to those who know "Wachlarz". And we are proud to welcome new people. Outriders Festival is an event that derives from a travel event, but in our case, we look at the world through the lens of each edition's theme, and each edition has its own. The guests - travellers, reporters, scientists, activists, influencers, and educators - tackle the topic by creating unique presentations. And you get content that is not available anywhere else. As a Patron, you can also return to it later, thanks to the archive's access.
The motto of the fourth edition of the Outriders festival is "Hope". During short and essential speeches, our speakers will guide us through travelling, climate crisis, sociology and politics, looking for hope and how not to lose it in the face of global challenges.
Hope. Hopelessness. Future. Concern. Fear. Joy. Climate. Change. Trip. Track. Artificial Intelligence. These are just some words that will appear in the speakers' speeches.
The festival will take place at the Outriders Club - a new place on the map of Poland and Europe. It is an interactive space that combines art with media. Outriders Festival on Saturday, February 3 is the opening party. We invite you to an open day on Sunday, February 4, between 11:00 am and 4:00 pm. We have prepared several surprises: a demonstration of the Club's multimedia capabilities, a meeting with Katarzyna Czajka-Kominiarczuk (Pop Culture Animal) with the Academy Awards in the background, a conversation with Tytus Hołdys accompanied by vinyl sounds and a travel presentation by Kamila Kielar - admission is free on Sunday!
See you!
