Supporting the Kremlin’s policy in Ukraine

The Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church, Kirill, announced during the Third Assembly of the Russian World in 2009 a common civilizational area, which consists of: Belarus, Russia and Ukraine (the so-called Saint Ruthenia). In the concept of the Russian world, Eastern Orthodoxy is to serve the integration of these countries on various levels, and the language of the agreement is to be Russian.
