Mobile phones
The first facial recognition technology for mobile devices was presented at ‘Security Show Japan” in 2005 with a phone created by a Japanese corporation, OMRON, called ‘OKAO Vision face’. This technology became popular for mobile phones after Apple launched its iPhone X in November 2017. Other mobile phones with face unlock are Huawei Honor 10, LGV 30, One Plus 6, Samsung Galaxy Note 8 or Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro.
