Membership to the Orthodox Church
It should be noted that apart from the dominant Orthodox Christianity, there is a large number of parishes belonging to other religions in Ukraine. First of all, it is the Greek Catholic Church, which has 3433 parishes and dominates in the west of the country. Interestingly, Protestant Churches are very active in Ukraine, and they have several thousand parishes in total, but the number of protestant parishioners is much smaller than in the Orthodox and Greek Catholic communities.
