Luiz Inácio Lula de Silva

A Brazilian politician and a President of Brazil (2003-2011). As a head of state, he introduced a broad pro-social reform program which, while preserving the capitalist economic system, served to compensate for social inequalities. Lula left the presidency with 80% support. His successor was Dilma Rousseff. Lula plans to be re-elected in 2018.
