Same-sex couples have been able to enter into a registered partnership since 2003 in Buenos Aires and the provinces of Buenos Aires and Río Negro. The Chamber of Deputies approved a bill legalizing the marriage of homosexuals in 2010. First marriages were concluded on July 30, 2010.
