Petro Poroshenko is still a very wealthy person and owns many companies. On the Panama Papers investigation, it turned out that he was also the owner of companies registered in tax havens. The total value of his assets has increased recently, which is pretty rare among the richest Ukrainians these days. His companies, Leninska Kuznya and Kuznya na Rybalskomu, perform army contracts so the President’s critics accuse Poroshenko of “earning money on war”.
In October 2017 ranking of the richest Ukrainians, Petro Poroshenko is placed on the fifth position. His assets are valued at $ 1 billion.
